Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about Provision!
 | Name: Provision Appearance Doll: Weird Science AD Guardian: @SmoI Give Love! Bio: Provision is a fairly intelligent goat. She could whip up a new potion or spell in no time and enjoys teaching her fellow witch friends new tricks! However.. She hardly ever has any time for that these days. Despite being an intelligent potion and spell creator, she is also an exhausted and tired mother. Being a mother to now 16 Weird Witches is no easy task and she functions mostly on takeaway coffee to keep her from losing it. Regardless of how exhausted she is from all her daughters and their chaotic natures, she loves them equally. |

Saturday Night Bidding Wars has begun! These Auctions will be held a once a week and feature exclusive items that are only available on auction night! The auctions start on Saturday and go on for 24 hours.

Rules and Guidelines
- Members may bid on multiple items and as many times as they like.
- Members may win multiple times in a row.
- Members may also snipe bids (bid as the auction is about to end).
- Members may do whatever they want with the items after they have won them. Such as sell, give away, hoard, or even pawn.
- Auctioned items will not retire.
- We understand that auctions may become intense, but please do not be frustrated or discouraged. There's always next week!
- Members who pester or disrespect others who have placed bids and/or won an auction will be permanently banned from Goat Mail and Forums.
This IS a friendly bidding war so stay tough, calm, and have fun!

Sep Support Boxes are now available at the Community Center.
Monthly Support goals are mini fundraisers that help with general behind-the-scenes expenses such as programing updates, taxes, site maintenance, staff payments, site fees, improving current features, and adding additional features. Monthly Support also helps to keep the site ad free.
Rewards
Two sets of 3 Support Boxes are available each month on rotation.

The first hints of Fall are being felt around the Goatlings Kingdom, such as the occasional chill in the air...
Cold Frisson and Minions have come to the Battle Center and are ready to challenge your Goatlings to a friendly battle. Train your Goatlings and collect limited edition loot!
Don't forget to save a couple stamps for your collection! If you're really lucky you may win a few Goat Tokens to use on the seasonal Token Game! (Fall Token Game arriving in about a week.)
Cold Frisson and Minions will stick around until about September 30th. After that they will leave us until next year and their limited edition loot will retire. (Excluding stamps and Goat Tokens.)

As we had stated last year, we have re-evaluated the situation regarding user made Diamond Dust (Monster Box and Mascot) entries for this years Monster Masquerade.
We have come to the difficult discussion what we, especially our Art Staff and I, feel most comfortable with doing.
This year, Diamond Dust submissions will not be open to all users. The Monster Box and the Mascots will be Staff designs.
This is not said lightly, but due to multiple incidents with stolen designs over the years, including ones happening within the last few months, we do not feel comfortable opening these to users yet. We had hoped to reverse this decision when Fall rolled back around, but we cannot. While we know some will be disappointed with this decision, please understand this was not an easy choice which is why it took us a bit to decide, and announce it. We are very aware of how important this event is for users, and how many users create designs for this season. We apologize that this announcement has come later than expected, but the discussion has been going on for a while as we weighed options.
Goatlings.com encourages creativity, we want users to have fun creating designs they love - but this comes with a risk. If a design is plagiarized from a large company, Goatlings.com runs multiple legal issues. If designs are taken from small creators, we are placed still in a situation where we are responsible for stolen work. It is never okay to steal designs. This goes without saying. Smaller creators have less recognizability and may not be noticed until work is done. This doubles, if not even further increasing our art teams work load at what is already the busiest time of the year for the site, and for many in their personal lives. We do our best to vet every design we consider, but we simply cannot be aware of every character and design that exists. Especially again, regarding smaller creators.
This risk remains in other designs and areas of the site, but the specific trouble and burden placed on the Site, Staff, and myself with the items sold for Diamond Dust are larger.
The current decision to have only Staff created designs for Diamond Dust will remain until further notice. However, this season for Monster Masquerade user made designs are eligible for Battle Center, Baleful Bootique, and Eerie Estate. As well as the Mascot Fusion design.
When submitting designs to contests, Token, Battle Center, and any other official submissions, please list your inspirations so our team may make educated decisions about the designs. Additionally, if you notice designs that may look too close to something already existent off of Goatlings, please send in a Support Ticket.
We hope everyone can look forward to the fantastic designs and event we have planned this year. We appreciate everyone's understanding.

Members can now enter their October/Fall/Monster Masquerade/Scarecrow & Minions themed designs for next months limited edition Battle Center Loot!
CLICK HERE to enter and vote for your favs! 1 Goatling design and 3-5 items will be chosen to add to next months Baddy Loot. Like typical Battle Center loot, these will only be available for one month, then retire forever!
