Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about Sand_Castle!

Bio: Wanting to relax and have fun every day at the beach with her closest friends, she aims to help each night be a blast. Fires, roasting marshmallows, surfing, swimming, volleyball- she loves it all! Even the colder months, the ocean is always beautiful, and the air is always salty and perfect to her. She loves collecting sea glass and making sand castles the most, making art in everything she does. They won't last forever, but that makes them all the more beautiful in her eyes. Tomorrow is a fresh day for a new piece. She knows her boyfriend CandleStore can't often join her because of his job, but the evenings that he can join her and watch they can watch the sunset together mean the world to her. |

Short Story
The waves inched ever closer to the incredible castle, already it'd filled the moat in an impressive display but now it was flooding over more and more. Sand_Castle smiled, siting just a bit farther back and watching as the work began to fall inward, clapping as the largest tower crumbled. "Isn't it lovely?" She looked over her shoulder at PastelPrism who watched with the same interest, nodding quickly.
"You did so well today! Those seashells were such a lucky find, they worked perfectly." One of the shells in question rolled from its place in the crumbled wall, washing away on the waves.
Sand_castle giggled, tapping her feet against the sand. "I know! I can't wait to see what the ocean brings tomorrow!"

Warm weather is perfect for long cozy naps in the sun! Or perhaps growing sunflowers!
