2023 Monster Masquerade Mascot Boxes & Give Love To Mascots Event!Posted by

Greetings Masqueraders!
Official Mascot Boxes are now available! Mascot Boxes are given to Team members for participating in events. They can also be found in the Diamond Dust shop, Saturday Night Bidding Wars, and Mascots Single Sugar Star Shops Sales during Oct 2023.
When opened, Mascot Boxes will drop one of several Mascot themed items. Such as Appearance Dolls and HA Buddy clothing! Mascot Boxes retire at the end of October.
We would like to start off by giving a huge shout out and THANK YOU to the designers of this years Mascots and accompanying loot!

Give Love To Mascots Event!
This is a month long event ANYONE can participate in! Simply give love to the mascot of your choice! Teams will earn 100 points for every 1,000 Love that is given to their Mascot! (With a cap of 1,000 points)

2023 Monster Masquerade Starting Soon & Treat Collecting!Posted by

Greetings Masqueraders!
Events for Monster Masquerade will begin rolling out today, and more events will be added during the upcoming week.
As we prepare for the event, members may start things off with our traditional Treat Collecting forum event!
Treat Collecting is an enjoyable tradition for residents of the Goatlings Kingdom. Legend says that in order to distract and calm the mischievous intentions of Baddies, small pieces of food, candy, and even small gifts are gathered and left out for them! Over time, Masqueraders began collecting these goodies for themselves as well. These small offerings are called Treats!

Members don't need to be on a Monster Masquerade Team to participate in this event. It's just for fun! So grab as many treats as you can for your collection. Don't forget to say thank you!

Saturday Night Bidding Wars has begun! These Auctions will be held a once a week and feature exclusive items that are only available on auction night! The auctions start on Saturday and go on for 24 hours.

Rules and Guidelines
- Members may bid on multiple items and as many times as they like.
- Members may win multiple times in a row.
- Members may also snipe bids (bid as the auction is about to end).
- Members may do whatever they want with the items after they have won them. Such as sell, give away, hoard, or even pawn.
- Auctioned items will not retire.
- We understand that auctions may become intense, but please do not be frustrated or discouraged. There's always next week!
- Members who pester or disrespect others who have placed bids and/or won an auction will be permanently banned from Goat Mail and Forums.
This IS a friendly bidding war so stay tough, calm, and have fun!

Greetings Masqueraders!
As we prepare for another amazing year of Monster Masquerade, we would like to remind players that multiple account abuse is against our Terms of Service. Not only that, but using multiple accounts (whether made by you or a family member/friend with the purpose to give your account items and nothing else) to gain extra Monster Masquerade prizes or to play both Teams hurts other members.
Please remember that when you use multiple accounts to join Monster Masquerade, you are directly stealing a slot from other players who would like to participate. Cheating in Monster Masquerade will result in a permanent ban from the site, as well as the removal of any points those accounts made for the Teams. We understand that both Teams have cool prizes, and the grand prize will certainly be amazing, but please play fairly.
In addition, we'd also like to remind players that Team events officially start opening on October 1st. Due to event requirements changing each year (and for the sake of fairness), please do not preemptively start working on events before official information has been revealed. Bonus events will also available for members who are not on a Team.

How To Join A Team
Visit the Community Center to find the Team Signups page. Click the "Join This Team!" button to be signed up for the Team of your choice! Sign Ups will close early on September 30th, or when spaces are full. Spaces are limited to 1,200 members (600 per team) in total.
Every two days, more slots for each team will be added.
Team Slot Schedule
+ Thursday September 21st = 400 slots added (200 per team)
+ Saturday September 23rd = 400 slots added (200 per team)
+ Monday September 25th = 200 slots added (100 per team)
+ Wednesday September 27th = 100 slots added (50 per team)
+ Friday September 29th = 100 slots added (50 per team) - we are here
Since spaces are limited, only members who plan to participate in Team events should join a Team. Points/prizes are only awarded to active Team Members. Team events can be challenging, and participation typically requires a member to post a drawing or text, so basic html and image hosting knowledge is encouraged. Members post Team event entries on our all-ages friendly Bulletin Boards. Bulletin Board entries will only become public once a moderator has approved them, and members cannot interact with each other on them.
Monster Masquerade also features bonus events that anyone can join regardless if they are on a Team or not!
As always, creating multiple accounts, or using other ways to gain an unfair advantage over other members is against our Terms Of Service and will result in a ban. Thank you for helping us to keep events fun and fair for all!

In order to to ward them off, the residents of the Goatlings Kingdom are masquerading as Baddies, and pretending to be mischievous, so the real Baddies will think the town is already overrun, and leave it in peace.
Monster Masquerade is a big event held in October where members can join one of two Teams, and participate in activities to earn prizes and points! The Teams are represented by two Goatling mascots, and the prizes are themed around all things Fall, creepy, and monstrous! The Team with the most points at the end of the event wins a special fusion of both mascots! Bonus events are also available for members who are not on a Team.
