Welcome to Spotlight BluA monthly creative prompt event based on the Bulletin Boards!
This months' prompt is: - FloraSpring has arrived to the Goatlings Kingdom! Lots of new flowers and plants are growing! What plants has your Goatling encountered this Spring? Do they like rolling in the grass or climbing trees? Do they make flower crowns or hunt for clovers? Draw a picture or write a short story or poem about your Goatling interacting with Spring time Flora!

Welcome to Spotlight BluA monthly creative prompt event based on the Bulletin Boards! Spotlight Blu is a combination and revamp of two retired events: Studio Blu and Goatling Spotlight. Studio Blu was a drawing prompt game in our official Discord, and Goatling Spotlight featured Goatlings in the on-site News. Spotlight Blu merges these events on the Bulletin Boards for more members to enjoy!
How it worksAt the beginning of each month, an inspirational theme will be posted in the News. Members wishing to participate can draw, or write a short story/poem about their Goatling using the theme as a guide! Their entry can be submitted to that months' Bulletin Board.
PrizesA Spotlight Blu Trophy will be awarded to every member when their entry is Accepted. Spotlight Blu Trophy can be collected, traded in for a classic Studio Blu/Goatling Spotlight Trophies, or other prizes from Blu's Trophy Trade Shop.
At the end of the month, 1-3 of our favorite entries will be featured on the site News! Additional items are not available for featured entries.

Artist's note: Science will say that the most powerful force in the world is the aptly named 'strong nuclear force'. However, science is wrong. The most powerful force in the universe is love between women (featuring Bolts and Ankle)

Writers Note: I've made this short story partly for my partner, because both Goatlings are inspired by us and I've also added a small illustration.
As the 14th of February got closer, Hallex started to panic even more. He had no gift for his dearest partner, Lexscho. They’ve been dating for as long as both of them could remember, starting as childhood neighbours and classmates. One day, on a rainy Friday, when they were walking home from their last class, Lexscho invited him to the Reader’s Café and confessed her feelings. That day was Valentine’s Day, it became a tradition for them to celebrate both their anniversary and the lovely holiday together with dinner and movies. Hallex always surprised his significant other with many gifts, small and big, but this year was different. He had no idea what to give her. Lexscho was known for her thoughtful presents, and he wanted to give her something she would love and cherish.
For a few days, he kept thinking about every conversation they had and every item she mentioned she liked while they were shopping, yet nothing seemed thoughtful and important. Chocolate was too basic, flowers, those he gave her all the time and she already had all her favourite books. She mentioned these cute cups with colourful patters, but she already had many of similar ones, and it would not be as special as he wanted it to be. Maybe some new coats or bandanas? Or he could give her tickets for her favourite singer.
In the end, all this thinking made him forget about one important detail. A detail Lexscho noticed and noted in her brain. He stopped spending time with her. It made her sad, but she wanted to give him time. When their anniversary came, she expected him to not show up and forget, but when the bell rang, she ran down the stairs and opened the door with so much force it hit the wall.
“Happy anniversary!” Hallex was holding a big basket with her favourite treats, new coat and some blankets, a bouquet of her favourite flowers and a small box.
She invited him over a together they sat on the sofa.
“I thought you forgot! You haven’t come here for over a week.”
He took the box and handed it to her: “I’m so sorry, but I’ve been trying to get you the perfect gift.”
Lexscho opened the small box and for a second lost her breath. There, on a pastel purple cloth, was a silver necklace with their initials. She took it and let Hallex put it around her neck.
“Thank you,” she hugged him, “and happy anniversary.”
