Welcome to Studio Blu!A monthly prompt event based in the official Goatlings.com Discord server!
How it works!At the beginning of each month, a Discord moderator will post an inspirational theme. Members wishing to participate can draw or write a short story or poem about a Goatling using the theme as a guide!
Prizes!At the end of the month, two entries will be randomly selected to be featured on the site News and the members will receive a special in-game trophy!

KalaMarrii galloped down the path of the Misty Meadows, fog creeping all around his hooves. He glanced around, critters skittering all about his cloven feet. He had gotten lost during his first trip adventuring and had not brought any gear, which was an obvious mistake. "I've gotta get out of here..." He bumped around, eventually tripping on a rock. KalaMarrii began to roll through the grass. He clunked to a stop as a terrifying swarm of Basil approached greedily towards him. He is level 1, he would surely die if they got to him. Thinking on his hooves, he grabbed a stick and threw it at one, bonking it, but it did very little damage as the hoard approached closer and closer. KalaMarrii gulped, preparing for the inevitable. All of a sudden, the bushes behind KalaMarrii ruffled, when a large shadow casted down over KalaMarrii. He blinked, only to spot a valiantly small Chimera Kit ruffling it's fur in front of him. The small beast took a firm stance, growling and roaring at the herd of Basil. After a couple tense seconds of a standstill, one Basil jumped forward, but before it could get close, the Chimera Kit bit onto it, tossing it back into the forest. Another Basil tried to jump the Chimera Kit but the snake on its tail bit onto the other and swung it away. A few of the wild Basil slithered back into the forest, not wishing to get harmed. The Chimera Kit's fur stuck up as it growled ferociously towards the rest of the remaining Basil. One final one decided to launch at the Chimera Kit and it stomped onto the tail of the Basil, forcing the final baddy to scurry off. The chimera Kit turned around proudly towards KalaMarrii. He sat there, confused as to what just happened. "Why have you saved me? I did not bring you with me, did I?" The Chimera Kit pranced up to the blue goatling and rubbed it's head onto them. KalaMarrii would proceed to softly pet the battle pet, albeit very strange. "Thank you for saving me..."

Greetings Battlings!
Members can now enter their July/Summer/Squid Kid & Minions/Summer Night Carnival themed designs for next months limited edition Battle Center Loot!
CLICK HERE to enter and vote for your favs! 1 Goatling design and 3-5 items will be chosen to add to next months Baddy Loot. Like typical Battle Center loot, these will only be available for one month, then retire forever!

Greetings Fanlings!
In order to alleviate confusion, and the risk of imbalanced pet slots (more Goatlings than slots on an account), a small update will be implemented for Goatling Trades soon.
Up until now, Goatling trades were automatically set to hidden after one week of inactivity.
Starting soon, Goatlings within expired trades and offers will automatically be sent back to their owners.
Members can currently check, and manually cancel any expired trades and offers here:

Adoption Tickets and/or Rehoming Goatlings will fix any imbalanced pet slot amounts.

Greetings Fanlings!
In solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, and Black lives around the country, Goatlings.com hosts an annual fundraiser to help raise money for Black-led organizations. Support Boxes will be postponed this month in favor of the fundraiser!
To this day, Black people around the world still face unjustifiable discrimination that goes woefully unpunished and unacknowledged. This year, and every year, we fight for change, and we encourage you to fight with us; to not only bring justice to anti-Black discrimination, but to fight for the recognition of Black accomplishments as well.
We encourage you this month especially to support Black communities by donating to worthy causes, spreading awareness, and shopping Black. Take time to educate yourself and/or your loved ones on important subjects such as Juneteenth, police accountability, and how to amplify Black voices.
Last year, we worked together to raise $5,205 for the Equal Justice Initiative!
For the 2024 Justice June Fundraiser, Goatlings.com will be donating to the Center for Black Equity. A short description from the organization:
"To promote a multinational LGBTQ+ network dedicated to improving health and wellness opportunities, economic empowerment, and equal rights while promoting individual and collective work, responsibility, and self-determination."
Additionally, by donating, members will receive special in-game items that are exclusively available in this fundraiser during Justice June! Donation items are seasonal and will return each year!
All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated directly to the Center for Black Equity. To participate in the fundraiser and receive this years Justice June item rewards, please visit the Fundraiser page by clicking the Community tab then Fundraisers, or click the link below for more information:
If you are unable to donate at this time, we ask that you consider sharing about the Center for Black Equity and other Black-led, and Black-beneficial organizations.

The sun is hot and the water is cool! Some new visitors have arrived to enjoy the warm weather!
Heatwave and Minions have come to the Battle Center and are ready to challenge your Goatlings to a friendly battle. Train your Goatlings and collect limited edition loot!
Don't forget to save a couple stamps for your collection! If you're really lucky you may win a few Goat Tokens to use on the seasonal Token Game! (Summer Token Game will arrive next week!)
Heatwave and Minions will stick around until about June 30th. After that they will leave us until next year and their limited edition loot will retire. (Excluding stamps and Goat Tokens.)

Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about Madoline!

Short Story
When Madoline was just a kid, her grandmother taught her to bake. Baking became her passion in life, which she turned into her career. She loved to make her customers smile. One day, she noticed breads and other baked goods would go missing from her kitchen. Eventually, she tracked down the culprit; a mischievous little mouse. Her grandmother always taught her to be kind to other living things, so she didn't chase the mouse away. Besides, it only wanted some food and a warm place to sleep at night. So the mouse wouldn't steal from her kitchen anymore (and frighten away her customers), Madoline began to leave out fresh pieces of bread for the mouse to eat. Weeks would pass of her doing this every morning when she woke up and every night before she went to bed. One day, Madoline discovered that the mouse started to leave her gifts! It started with one of her grandmother's recipe cards before escalating to things like elegant parasols. Madoline didn't even know how a mouse could carry a parasol! Slowly but surely, the two would become great friends, and the little mouse would help her out around her bakery.

- Members may bid on multiple items and as many times as they like.
- Members may win multiple times in a row.
- Members may also snipe bids (bid as the auction is about to end).
- Members may do whatever they want with the items after they have won them. Such as sell, give away, hoard, or even pawn.
- Auctioned items will not retire.
- We understand that auctions may become intense, but please do not be frustrated or discouraged. There's always next week!
- Members who pester or disrespect others who have placed bids and/or won an auction will be permanently banned from Goat Mail and Forums.
