Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about Birchbud!
 | Name: Birchbud Appearance Doll: Red Maple AD Guardian: @sammanson Give Love! Bio: A young man that lives in the forest with his blind mother, helping her run their own potion shop. He tends to let his temper get the best to him, but on the inside, he’s a softie to the core. Raised to be a witch, he often tip toes into magic every once and awhile, but is more often than not gathering the items for said magic, rather than executing it. His right hand was lost in an accident when he was much younger. He owns a wooden prosthetic hand in which he built himself, stating, "It matches the markings I have, so it's already in character." |

Short Story
“Welcome to BirchWood Potions.”, speaks a voice behind a wooden counter. The little shop is full of bottles of every size, in the far back is seen a cauldron that’s still bubbling and burning. It looks used, well loved. Sitting near the counter is a short young man, ears flicking in what seems to be annoyance. He looks rather peeved, but you step towards him regardless.
“What would you like?” His voice is rather monotone, matching his attitude. “We have plenty of concoctions, from cures to harmless pranks, maybe a friend got turned to a toad? Dunno.” He sits up from his bent over position, gesturing to the glasses lined up on shelves behind him.
He notices you may need some time to pick out what you need, so he shrugs, stating, “The name’s Birchbud, just let me know if you decide on anything.”, before walking to the back. He steps towards the cauldron, stirring it as he waits, the same routine he’s practiced for years.

Saturday Night Bidding Wars has begun! These Auctions will be held a once a week and feature exclusive items that are only available on auction night! The auctions start on Saturday and go on for 24 hours.

Rules and Guidelines
- Members may bid on multiple items and as many times as they like.
- Members may win multiple times in a row.
- Members may also snipe bids (bid as the auction is about to end).
- Members may do whatever they want with the items after they have won them. Such as sell, give away, hoard, or even pawn.
- Auctioned items will not retire.
- We understand that auctions may become intense, but please do not be frustrated or discouraged. There's always next week!
- Members who pester or disrespect others who have placed bids and/or won an auction will be permanently silenced.
This IS a friendly bidding war so stay tough, calm, and have fun!

Greetings Battlings!
Members can now enter their October/Fall/Scarecrow & Minions/Monster Masquerade themed designs (and/or nominate other Member Designs) for next months limited edition Battle Center Loot!
CLICK HERE to enter and vote for your favs! 1 Goatling design and 3-5 items will be chosen to add to next months Baddy Loot. Like typical Battle Center loot, these will only be available for one month, then retire forever!
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT MONSTER MASQUERADE ENTRIES As Mascot Boxes and Monster Boxes will be available in the Diamond Dust shop, please enter your Monster Masquerade Goatling designs to our Diamond Dust shop thread.
Voting will open for Monster Masquerade mascots in about ONE WEEK so please send your Mascot entries in asap!
About Monster Masquerade
Monster Masquerade is a big event held in October where members can join one of two Teams and participate in activities to earn prizes and points! The Teams are based on spooky Goatling mascots and the prizes are themed around all things Fall, creepy, and monstrous! The Team with the most points at the end of the event wins a special fusion of both mascots! Some prizes and events are also available for members who are not on a Team and/or do not have access to the forums!

The first hints of Fall are being felt around the Goatlings Kingdom, such as the occasional chill in the air...
Cold Frisson and Minions have come to the Battle Center and are ready to challenge your Goatlings to a friendly battle. Train your Goatlings and collect limited edition loot!
Don't forget to save a couple stamps for your collection! If you're really lucky you may win a few Goat Tokens to use on the seasonal Token Game! (Fall Token Game arriving in about a week or two.)
Cold Frisson and Minions will stick around until about September 30th. After that they will leave us until next year and their limited edition loot will retire. (Excluding stamps and Goat Tokens.)

Greetings Fanlings!
September Support Boxes are now available at the Community Center.
Monthly Support goals are mini fundraisers that help with general behind-the-scenes expenses such as taxes, site maintenance, staff payments, and site fees. Monthly Support also helps to keep the site ad free, and sneak peeks free on social media.
Three Support Boxes are available each month; Dawn Lucky Box, Twilight Lucky Box, and Dusk Lucky Box. Members can only receive one of each unique Support Box during each new month’s support period - regardless of how much is donated. These mini fundraisers will be reset at the start of each month, allowing members who donate to receive up to 3 new boxes a month. Support Box(es) will be added to the members account automatically as soon as a donation is made.

Welcome to Studio Blu!A monthly prompt event based in the official Goatlings.com Discord server!
How it works!At the beginning of each month, a Discord moderator will post an inspirational theme. Members wishing to participate can draw or write a short story or poem about a Goatling using the theme as a guide!
Prizes!At the end of the month, two entries will be randomly selected to be featured on the site News and the members will receive a special in-game trophy!

“Pick out the one you want honey.” A soft and gentle voice said and she lifted her son up so he could see all the prizes. She watched him giggle and point at a multicolor snake. She could see why he liked it with it’s silly face.
“The snake plush please.” She said handing the vendor the 5 tickets. Once she got her prize she could see her sons eyes light up with happiness as she gave him he snake. He let out a small high pitched noise hugging it tightly. LuckyCoin smiled at her overly excited son happy she could make him happy today.
