Fall Token Game - NEW ITEMS Overview, credits, and thank yous!Posted by

The Token Game is a seasonal event where members trade Goat Tokens for exclusive goodies. Goat Tokens are special coins members can find around the site all year long. They are available in the Diamond Dust shop, from Battle Center Baddys, Random Events, Daily Gachapon (Arcade game), and Gone Fishin (Arcade game). Sometimes they are also given to members as prizes during events and contests.
The Token Game changes with each season (4 games for 4 seasons). Each season a new Guardian will arrive and exchange Goat Tokens for their treasure. The treasure will not retire but will only be available during the appropriate season. For example, the Fall Token game is only open in the Fall. However, MORE treasure will be added each year (new items will have a higher drop rate)! Goat Tokens can be used in every season.

Greetings Fanlings!
Monster Masquerade is one of the busiest times of the year for staff - especially on our art team! We would like to hire a couple artists to help out for the remainder of September during our MM prep time.
Artists chosen will be able to assist our art team with redrawing member designed Goatlings and items to fit the site style. A Discord account is also necessary for better communication and file transfer as a temporary server will be made specifically for Monster Masquerade artists!

Welcome to Goatling Spotlight! A mini event where we get to show off your favorite Goatlings! Each week a new Goatling will be featured in the News and the owner will receive a shiny Spotlight Trophy to display on their pets page or in their collection. This week is all about Eirlys_Bewitched!

She's withdrawn, but is dating Budding_Flowers, and lives happily, often helping out anyone who knocks at the door of her cottage. |

Short Story
Eirlys, unlike the other goats, doesn’t actually live in the house. Instead, she lives in the Enchanted Forest, in what might basically be called a witch’s cottage. She spends a lot of her time reading or walking through the forests, and mostly, the baddies don’t actually mind her.
She’s still part of the herd, but as she prefers to live alone, this is perfect for her. There’s also something about her that causes other goats to feel a little uneasy, although they don’t know what this is. In reality, the fact is that Eirlys is a lot older than she’s ever admitted to, and when she wandered into Palace Town, she had woken up in the Phantom Forest. Even she doesn’t know how long she had been asleep, or exactly where she came from.
However, our beautiful local cryptid does enjoy the ‘family dinners’ that are hosted at the house, and always attends, bringing gifts for everyone when she does. She prefers to spend her time with Budding_Flowers, her partner.
At the 2019 Summer Carnival, she agreed to go look around the booths with Bud, and ended up confessing to her. The two of them have been dating ever since.
Her favourite food is Sunflower Seed Soup, and she appreciates that Bud always makes sure to have it in for when she visits.

Rules and Guidelines
- Members may bid on multiple items and as many times as they like.
- Members may win multiple times in a row.
- Members may also snipe bids (bid as the auction is about to end).
- Members may do whatever they want with the items after they have won them. Such as sell, give away, hoard, or even pawn.
- Auctioned items will not retire.
- We understand that auctions may become intense, but please do not be frustrated or discouraged. There's always next week!
- Members who pester or disrespect others who have placed bids and/or won an auction will be permanently silenced.
This IS a friendly bidding war so stay tough, calm, and have fun!

2020 Monster Masquerade Team Mascot VOTING OPEN for one week!Posted by

Greetings Fanlings!
Members can now vote for their favorite Goatlings to become the next Monster Masquerade Team Mascots!
Vote by clicking the 'like' button next to your favorite Goatling designs! Choose wisely because votes cannot be changed. Please only vote 1-3 times (Top choice, top two choices, or top three choices). In the case of a tie, Goatlings.com staff will cast their votes to determine the winner.
The two Goatlings with the most votes will be this years official Monster Masquerade mascots. Teams will be competing for the grand prize; a special fusion Goatling featuring traits from each mascot!
Voting will be open until about Sep 19th. Give or take a day due to time-zones.
Team signups will begin shortly afterwards.

About Monster Masquerade
It's that time of year when Baddies seem to cause the most mischief! The residents of the Goatlings Kingdom are masquerading as Baddies to trick and confuse other Baddies into leaving the town in peace.
Monster Masquerade is a big event held in October where members can join one of two Teams and participate in activities to earn prizes and points! The Teams are based on spooky Goatling mascots and the prizes are themed around all things Fall, creepy, and monstrous! The Team with the most points at the end of the event wins a special fusion of both mascots! Some prizes and events are also available for members who are not on a Team and/or do not have access to the forums!
