Greetings Fanlings!
In solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, and Black lives around the country, Goatlings.com hosts an annual fundraiser to help raise money for Black-led organizations. Support Boxes will be postponed this month in favor of the fundraiser!
Last year, we worked together to raise $4,000 for the NAACP!
This year, the fundraiser will focus on the National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition. A short description from the organization:
"Established in 2011, The National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition is the only social justice organization led by black trans people to collectively address the inequities faced in the black transgender human experience. Through our national advocacy center and affiliate state chapters we work daily, advocating to end poverty, discrimination in all forms and its human inequities faced in health, employment, housing and education that are rooted in systemic racism, to improve the lived experience of transgender people. Our work is based in peace building, community education, public policy initiatives, empowerment programs and direct services."
Additionally, by donating, members will receive a special lucky box that is exclusively available in this fundraiser during Justice June! Donation items are seasonal and more will be added each year!

Welcome to Studio Blu!A monthly prompt event based in the official Goatlings.com Discord server!
How it works!At the beginning of each month, a Discord moderator will post an inspirational theme. Members wishing to participate can draw or write a short story or poem about a Goatling using the theme as a guide!
Prizes!At the end of the month, two entries will be randomly selected to be featured on the site News and the members will receive a special in-game trophy!

He descended the steps from his watchtower and out into the open night sky. Barley checked his watch, only a quarter of an hour left before the day resets. Granted he didn't feel any different from before, but it was still hard to acknowledge it has already been a year. Right as he looked up, there they were, his friends standing by the cliff-side gesturing towards him.
"Ursa!" One of them cried, "over here." Without needing to be told twice, he paced himself quickly in their direction before abruptly stopping dangerously close to the edge.
"You know you can call me Barley right?" He said. "There's no one here, we're fine." He received a shrug as response. I'll take it as a yes then.
His friend reached out and place a hand over his shoulder, patting him encouragingly. "Congrats on reaching a year of surviving," they smirked, "you're rather tough for a newbie."
Barley returned the smile. "Same to you too." And they stood watching the night sky, counting down the seconds before the minute hand strike twelve. Choosing to be in a line of justice, it's hard to tell when you'll be put six feet under, thus Barley counted his days and celebrated every passing minute.
