Short Story
Elix was laying under a lonely tree, peacefully reading a book. She looked up, hearing a twig snap nearby. She looked around but didn't see anyone. Right as she looked back to her book, she noticed a shimmer in the grass out of the corner of her eye. Elix got up and started walking towards the shimmering thing, searching in the grass for whatever it was. After some searching, she found it, a shimmering, beautiful gem. A little dirty sure, but still just as pretty.

Welcome to Studio Blu!A monthly prompt event based in the official Goatlings.com Discord server!
How it works!At the beginning of each month, a Discord moderator will post an inspirational theme. Members wishing to participate can draw or write a short story or poem about a Goatling using the theme as a guide!
Prizes!At the end of the month, two entries will be randomly selected to be featured on the site News and the members will receive a special in-game trophy!

Szopka leaned over the small bar side counter and sipped some more of his peppermint shake. Halloween was near and there wasn't a lot of time left for the Winter Eve goat. He gives a look around the restaurant as a waiter helps the other customers. The perfect yellow, tail bow and piece of holly on his antlers move as Szopka tries to look for random inspiration.
The ghost paper hanging on the pin board...? The 'scary' wolf mask covering the mascot statue...? The hanging spider on the roof...? None really interested the cream goat. He took another long sip and sighed. How could a known winter goat wear anything for Halloween? His coat was already good for the cold night air and cookies are always ready to be handed out at any time of the year!
"Oh yeah! Goat Santa, duh!" Szopka scoots out of the booth, leaves sugar stars on the counter, and leaves the restaurant. "No one will ever expect that, of course!" He gives himself a mental pat on the head and heads towards Yarn Melody.
